Rev: A wreath of oak and laurel surrounds the inscription (in cursive lettering) PATRICK CLARK / FOR THE / STATIC REGULATOR FOR / STEAM BOILERS. / 1853. The further inscription AWARDED TO is inscribed along the upper border.
 
 Lovely medium gold surfaces with a pronounced prooflike finish.
