This rare issue features a new reverse produced in 1860 by Anthony Paquet, the assistant engraver of the Mint at the time. The Paquet issues can be identified by their tall lettering and narrow rim. It was the narrowness of the rim that made this a short-lived (two year) variety, as it was determined the coin would not wear well because of the rim. Rare in all grades. NGC Price Guide $165,000.00
