1909 NY HK-375 Hudson/Fulton Celebration. Fulton Gold $1 NGC MS65

HK-375 Gold, size of Gold Dollar. 15mm. Only 75-100 struck. DeLorey 76.

15 mm, the diameter of a Type Three gold dollar. Steamboat inventor Robert Fulton is depicted on the obverse. The exergue dates (1809 - 1909) commemorate a century of steamboat navigation though Hudson Bay. The reverse depicts the Clermont, the first commercial steamboat, which ferried passengers between New York and Albany.
